Creating museum quality hand-made, hand-painted, functional stoneware, decorative ceramics, custom tiles, and personal commissions.  Over twenty-five years ago, Debbie began painting her hand-thrown, high-fired stoneware pieces with farm animal and checkerboard patterns in striking cobalt blue colors set on a creamy white background.  She began with just three designs...the rabbit, the goose, and the sheep.   Cordon Bleu Pottery was born.  As always, each and every piece of Debbie Dean's Cordon Bleu Pottery is still wheel-thrown or hand-built and personally hand-painted by Debbie... one at a time... each one is an original!  The Clay Rabbit is actually the name of the gallery and pottery studio Debbie opened in Portland, OR in 1985. Nowadays, you'll find us out in the country in Woodland, Washington by Mt.
